He was born in 1954.

In 1980 he graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Engineering and Construction Institute (now he is called the Pridneprovsk Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture). Since 1984 - Candidate of Technical Sciences, since 1997 - Doctor of Technical Sciences, since 2000 - Professor.

He is currently a professor at the Department of Construction, Geotechnics and Geomechanics of the Dnipro University of Technology.

He is a full member of the Academy of Civil Engineering of Ukraine, a member of the Presidium of the Ukrainian and International Societies of Geomechanics, a foreign member of the Russian Society of Soil Mechanics, Geotechnics and Foundation.

He is the author of over 100 scientific works, including eight monographs and two textbooks. Completed more than 1000 projects of construction, reinforcement, reconstruction, overbuild and inspection of buildings and structures of various purpose and their foundations, including the reactor departments of Zaporizhzhya NPP and the station in Debaltseve

Co-author of the current DBN B.2.1-10-2009 on the territory of Ukraine and amendments № 1 to DBN B.2.1-10-2009.

Prepared 10 Candidates of Technical Sciences.

Scientific interests - rheology and nonlinear soil mechanics.

Practical interests - designing real objects.

The hobby is inorganic chemistry.
